Belize Arch Thanks You!
We would like to express our deepest thanks for your presence, donations, and support. We hope you enjoyed an informative evening at the May 21, 2014 fundraising event with our special guest speakers, Mr. Roland Yorke – General Consul of Belize in Los Angeles, and Professor Richard White from Portland State University, Oregon.
Your generosity will sustain our mission:
Develop children’s nutritional awareness and skills by working with their communities and environment in Belize to promote healthy eating habits and to reduce chronic illnesses.
Your financial support will continue to bring solace to the children at the Cristo Rey R.C. School, Belize and will help us to deliver the continuation of our health, nutrition, and organic school-garden program in September 2014.
You are the reason why students such as little Tamari who ran toward us during our March assessment trip and said: “Ms. Linda! Ms. Linda! Guess what! We now have a vegetable garden at our house because you taught us last September how important it is to eat well!”
You will enable the children of Cristo Rey R.C. School to be more aware of the importance of good nutrition, to get more tools, to plant more, and to “arch” their knowledge to others. We thank you for being you and helping feed those who come to school on an empty stomach.
Whether you were present or if you were unable to attend the evening, we would be delighted to keep you on our mailing list and update you about future events, the progress and future steps of the project. We will also update our website after each trip.
There is no way to fully express our gratitude. We at Belize Arch are inspired by the dedication and generosity of donors like yourself.
We look forward to a continuous partnership with you.
With warm regards,
Belize Arch Team and its Volunteers
